Headline: Toyota adds insurance to its business van leases
Toyota Ireland’s Kinto leasing arm has announced that it’s now going to include comprehensive insurance as part of its Kinto One business leases, which will cost users an extra €65 per month.
Which vehicles qualify for this insurance deal?
Kinto has said that the new insurance product will cover the Toyota Corolla Hybrid Van and Proace fleets, and that cover is guaranteed as long as the drivers are aged between 25 and 69, regardless of vehicle value or business sector.
The Kinto One cover also includes complimentary accident management, and comes with a standard €500 excess.
How much does it cost to lease a Kinto product?
The Kinto One business lease lineup starts with the hybrid-engined Toyota Corolla van. This has CO2 emissions of just 104g/km and impressive fuel economy, and it can manage a payload of up to 425kg and a capacity of 596 litres. Weekly leasing rates start from €129, and the insurance add-on is an additional €17 per week.
Are any other vans available?
Yes, you can also lease the ProAce van family through Kinto. The ProAce City starts from €109 per week, with a payload of up to 1,000kg and room for two Europallets. There’s a choice of diesel power or an electric version with a range of up to 272km.
Or, there’s the larger ProAce van, which can manage a payload of up to 1,400kg, and has a towing capacity of up to 2,500kg, and which is also available with either diesel power or in electric form with a range of up to 350km.
According to Kinto, the primary benefits of its service are that there’s no capital outlay and that the lease offers fixed costs, which make budgeting easier. The service offers flexible terms ranging from 24 to 60 months, with mileage options of up to 220,000 km, enabling businesses to tailor agreements to their specific needs.
