Ahead of its 2023 season, the Irish Sailing Team has taken delivery of the latest addition to its fleet, a Mercedes-Benz Vito 114 Style. It is the second such model to be put into action by the Irish Sailing Team and will primarily be used to transport its boats and equipment.
It has already undergone a complete fit-out from Cafco Vehicle Solutions, ensuring that it is optimised to suit the team’s needs. Its distinctive appearance is the work of a full wrap from Fish Graphics, so it will be easy to spot as it travels between training camps and competitions around Europe.
Mercedes-Benz Ireland has maintained a lengthy association with the sailing community. It sponsored and supported Olympic medal-winning sailor Annalise Murphy during her preparations for the Games in Rio and Tokyo. One of the users of the new van will be Eve McMahon, who has already enjoyed success in her career and is currently the Youth World Champion.
